The letter might contain anything from what inspired the artwork to hunting and fishing stories or tid bits of Alaska history and science! The surprise could contain an activity such as a coloring page, a blank card for you to send to someone else, or it could contain tips and tricks for subsistence living, my favorite black cod recipe, or other fun art how-to’s.

Each month you can expect to get an envelope in the mail from me. Inside there will be:
a small piece of artwork - gift it, send it as a post card, or frame it!

a letter about that months art and updates from me
and sometimes an extra surprise!

Since these will be shipped with a stamp, no tracking can be provided. Make sure you enter the correct address ;)
I am really excited to tie together art, science, subsistence hunting/gathering and my overall excitement for living a full Alaskan life :)

Hi, I’m Celia
I figured I’d introduce myself with this photo since I feel my best, most authentic self, when I’m on the ocean! I grew up commercial fishing off of south Baranof Island in the summers and spending winters in Haines, Alaska. I draw most of my inspiration from my surroundings and my feelings about those things/places. There is no where I’d rather be than on the ocean, hunting in the alpine, or in some majestic snowy pow fields!
